Hunger Down is a program launched by Rhode Island’s music and hunger relief communities that is designed to enhance food donations and improve food security in Rhode Island. Its primary mission is to encourage all entertainment venues and annual events (and other venues, organizations, businesses, government agencies and events in the future) to collect food and monetary donations on a regular basis, at all events, without having to wait for a food drive. Participating venues and events will be classified as “Hunger Down Zones” and be promoted on Hunger Down’s website and other social media. Website: - FB page:
